As a culminating STEM challenge, Mrs. Sanchez surprised our students with GLOW GOLF today!! Students had designed different courses to challenge their classmates, then got to play everyone's courses to evaluate which ones were the most challenging, fun, and interesting to play. Thanks to Mrs. Sanchez for creating a fun end-of-year activity, and to Mrs. Sage and Mrs. Defors for helping pull off the surprise!!!

What a fun Arbor Day morning in Darien! The 3rd graders released the butterflies they had nurtured from caterpillars the last few weeks donated by the Gift of Carl Foundation. It was a fantastic celebration with Mayor Marchese addressing the children and guests from the Darien Garden Club, the Morton Arboretum, Darien Fire Department, Darien Police Department, and others. Thank you to Bartlett Tree Experts for generously donating two red oak saplings that will soon be planted on our campus!
Mrs. Csorba & Mr. Little celebrated 22 Panther Readers Friday afternoon! They completed the 20 Bluestem/Caudill book challenge and earned a delicious milkshake from DQ! 📚🍦
This week we celebrated Administrative Assistant's Day. It would be a criminal understatement to call Mrs. Whitt the heart and soul of Prairieview. Whether it's managing all of the chaos in the office, tending to sick students, or keeping our principal focused, she's what makes our building work! Many of you took pictures with bulletin boards of angel wings or our "Up!" board. These are all built by Mrs. Whitt on her own time outside of school. It's touches like this that make Mrs. Whitt such a special person to our school's staff members and students. Join us in celebrating Mrs. Whitt for her dedication to Prairieview!!
